Toshiba have now added two new HDTV’s from their REGZA range, these are the 40RF35OU and 46RF35OU. Both are 1080p full HD and feature the thinnest bezel which is only 1-inch wide, the 40RF35OU is a 40-inch while the 46RF35OU is a 46-inch TV.
To achieve a richer and clearer image with accurate colors Toshiba use a 10-bit LCD panel, this gives you 64 times more colors than the standard 8 bit panel. Toshiba have also use a new 14-bit internal digital video processing technology called the PixelPure 3G. Both the 40RF35OU and 46RF35OU come with three HDMI inputs as well as a PC input.

One Consumer Review of “Toshiba 40RF35OU and 46RF35OU: Two new REGZA LCD HDTV’s”
Review by Anon, July 15, 2009
Within 17 months of purchase, my Toshiba Regza (a $1,500 television set) is unusable. About 1/3 of the screen is covered with multicolored vertical lines. The authorized repair center wants $2,000 in total to fix the TV set (it requires an $1,800 part). Toshiba customer service tells me I am out of luck because the product is out of warranty. They were not particularly nice, helpful, understanding, or at all interested in learning more about what is an obvious design defect in an allegedly high-end product. It is obviously within Toshiba’s discretion to service out of warranty products which have such profound failures within such a short period of time. I will never buy another Toshiba product and will share my negative experience with as broad an audience as is possible.
