So what does the Bravia engine do to give you great quality images? Firstly it includes high speed A/D (analog-to-digital) converters, this allows for wide-range gradation capture of analog signals. Secondly there is a 3-D Y/C comb filter, this helps to minimize cross colour and dot structure artifacts.
