When you think of Sony you think of both style and elegance, and that is evident in the new KDL-32D3000 32-inch LCD. Sony has decided to give this TV a matte black finish instead of the black glossy finish that so many of its rivals do.
A few things stand out right away with the KDL-32D3000, like its ‘24p True Cinema’, what this great piece of technology does is display the films just as they were intended which is at 24fps (frames per second), the standard for TV’s is normally 25fps. This helps to improve the picture, as the TV is not trying to force and speed up the image to try to reach the 25fps.
Theatre Mode Technology is another great feature which works in conjunction with True Cinema, what this does is automatically adjusts the colour, contrast and brightness to make the movie as real as possible.
Motionflow +100Hz is yet another great feature, which doubles the amount of frames that was normally shown on older models, so now if you have a fast moving image your TV will not stutter as it tries to keep up.
As we rely more and more on a perfect connection between our consumer electronic that we connect to our TV’s, you will glad to know that the Sony KDL-32D3000 has not one or two, but three HDMI inputs.
Although Sony have made great advancements with the quality of the image on the KDL-32D3000, one of the greatest achievements from this TV is the black levels, but they still have a while to go to get them perfect.
