When it comes to projectors there is a range to choose from, firstly you have the cheap budget models, then you have the middle of the range and then you have the high-end models and the SIM2 Italian projectors are not cheap but they are not the most expensive so they fall in to a new category, middle to high-end.
The new Domino D10 DLP Projector from SIM2 will only set you back about £1,595.00, and this lower price than other SIM2 projectors have me worried, as this would normally mean that they have sacrificed quality for the lower price tag. It does not get on to a good start as the colour of the Domino D10 is in a dull matt black, nothing like what we are used too on most of the other projectors on the market.
Things still get worse when I find out that the D10 only uses the Texas Instruments Dark Chip2 DLP system, although this is very capable this technology has now been superseded by Dark Chip3, and that is found in a range of lower priced projectors.

However things do look up when you switch the projector on, colours are rich and authentic thanks to the DLP technology, and the added benefit of the colour wheel helps add extra yellow, cyan and magenta, this is along with the usual red, green and blue.
