Sharp have always tried to get one up on other TV makers such as Panasonic and Samsung, now it seems as if they have achieved that. Sharp are set to release the AQUOS T and R series, but what makes this TV’s so special are the fact that they are the first LCD TV’s to have THX Movie Mode.
This blessing from THX help to optimise both gamma and brightness levels for when you are in a dark room. Both the AQUOS R and T Series have a 20Hz LCD flat panel, this is great for fast moving images. Both have three HDMI Inputs, duel FireWire, DVI inputs and a single Ethernet.
These Sharp TV sets are to be released in Japan first in September, and the rest of the world will follow just a few months after.
