The Yamaha DPX-830 produces a contrast ratio of 4,000: 1 and a brightness of 1,000 ANSI lumens, but Yamaha have not stopped there as they also use the new DDP3020 Imaging ASIC from Texas Instruments, this allows for full 10-bit processing.

The Yamaha DPX-830 Digital Cinema Projector uses a natural black concept, this helps to achieve deeper black levels than a many other Projectors on the market.
