Looking for a big screen TV that still manages to look sleek and sexy, well the Samsung PS50Q97HD from the Q97 range is just that. The screen size of this Plasma TV is 50-inch, man it is a monster. There are only a couple of TV manufactures that can actually make a TV of this size look beautiful, and Samsung are one of them with its rounded styling and piano black finish.

One thing that we did notice with the Samsung PS50Q97HD is how good the images are while watching the Freeview, we thought that the picture would have been a bit grainer as it is a huge screen, but we were wrong. However, when you get to watching High Definition that the TV really shinned; images were sharp and natural looking. The PS50Q97HD benefits from movie mode and gamming mode, both help to further improve image quality and reducing judder.

There are some bad points to the TV though like the amount of dot noise, these speckles only show up while there is black on the screen, but if you have, a large room then you do not need to worry, as you need to be sitting close to the television to notice the fault.
