Samsung are one of those TV manufactures who seem to commit themselves to both LCD and Plasma, and they seem to pull it off well. Many of us still prefer a Plasma to an LCD, so Samsung feel that they should give a customer what they want and not force us to have something which we do not.
To prove this fact is the release of a new Plasma TV the Samsung PS-42P7HD, which has a 42-icnch screen. As with all Samsung TV’s it looks very sexy indeed, with it’s now much used black glossy finish, this proves that they still go for looks as well as what is on the inside.
Ok so what has the Samsung PS-42P7HD 42-in Plasma TV got on the inside to help give it a first rate picture?. Firstly, it has the DNIe processing engine, which helps to boost its colour range and give a greater level of black. Samsung have also used a technology called the Smooth Motion Driver, what this does is help to stamp out the old problem of motion handling, how this does this is by giving the TV 10 more frames of picture each second to the image.
