A homeowner with an interest in poker and movies decided to construct his very own home theatre and casino. Murray Kunis who owns Future Home, which specialise in electronics system in Los Angeles, has made the movie room, with the poker room adjoining it.
Kunis worked very closely with First Impressions Theme Theatres of North Miami, Florida to help him design his dream home theatre room. The Runco VX2c DLP projector provides him with his 169-inch cinema images, Murray has said that he plans to update the projector later, but he is more than happy with this $40,000.
The JBL Synthesis system produces the sound, Kunis said that this was the only system that could handle the sound for this size of room, which is three times the size of the average (16 by 20 with a 10-foot ceiling) home cinema rooms.
Murray Kunis uses the Crestron control system, as he wanted a system that was easy to use, you cannot get much easier than pressing one button to draw the curtains, or change the lighting moods.
Once people have finished watching a movie they can then move onto the annex, where they can have a game of Texas hold’em.
