Pioneer PDP-507XD just seems to ooze style and even though this plasma TV has a 50-inch screen, the television seems to look smaller thanks to the minimalist styling. The glossy black finish seems to understate the PDP-507XD, which is a good thing, as you do not want it to look like a big lump of plastic in your living room.
What gives this plasma its fantastic image quality is a Pureblack Panel 2 and a Crystal Emissive Layer, which form the front glass panel, this system, is unique to Pioneer. The TV manufacture has also used the Direct Colour Filter panel, what this does is remove the secondary offset image this used to be more evident on a standard plasma screen.
With the Pioneer PDP-507XD 50-inch Plasma TV you get the best of both worlds, if you are not very good at setting up TV’s then the TV is very simple to set up. However, if you are an expert when it comes to your settings then the PDP-507XD will keep you happy while you go through and change all the complex settings.
