When Philips put their minds to it they do make a good TV, the 32PFL5522D 32-inch LCD TV, is not the best television in the price range, but it can certainly hold its own. Technologies such as Pixel Plus HD, Dynamic contrast enhancement, Colour transient improvement, Contrast plus, Luminance transient improver, 3D combfilter, Progressive scan, Digital noise reduction, Active Control and Jagged line suppression all help to produce a picture far greater than you would expect form a TV in this price range.
It is not always about picture quality though, while watching movies you want to be able to have good sound quality, and the Philips 32PFL5522D does not disappoint with its Nicam Digital Stereo. There is a 7-band equaliser, but for those who like a bit more bass then the Dynamic bass enhancement and incredible surround will keep you very happy.
