When you first look at the Philips 26PFL5522 26-inch LCD you will fall in love with it, well I did anyway. What I loved about this TV was its look, it has a black glossy frame around the 26” screen, and the outer shell is silver, these two go very well together. The best feature of this design though is the bottom of the TV and how it slopes inwards under the speaker. Although this is not hugely different to most TV’s on the market, it is just that small design change that makes the Philips 26PFL5522 stand out from the rest.
Ok, so let us get down to what matters to you, this 26-inch LCD screen TV has rich detailed images, this is due to a contrast level of 3,500:1, which is above average for a 26-inch LCD. The brightness level is 500 cd/m², this also allows for a clearer picture.
Philips have also used the now popular Pixel Plus HD and Digital Crystal Clear technologies, with these two working together the TV achieves stunning rendering.
