As well as introducing a new LZ range of LCD TVs, Panasonic has also announced a new Viera PX80-series plasmas. These TVs come in three sizes, TH-50PX80 which is a 50-inch, TH-42PX80 which is a 43-inch and finally the TH37PX80 which is a 37-inch. All models have a contrast ratio of 15,000:1; the 50-inch model has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 with both the 42 and 37-inch having a resolution of 1,024 x 768.
According to Trusted Reviews, all three televisions have dual HDMI inputs as well as D4 and D-Sub. Panasonic have also decided to treat us with an Ethernet port and an SD card reader. The TVs will be released in April, in Japan first, it is not known when the rest of the world will be seeing this TV set.
