LG have always been about quality and value for money, in the past many thought that the LG brand was at the lower end of the market but now, it seems that this electronics brand is serious. Just look at their new LG 60PF95 60-inch Plasma TV, it has a presence that seems to take over a room.
Although the LG 60PF95 is very large, it seems to look smaller than it actually is, but that could be a result of the sleek looks of the TV’s design. The LG 60PF95 has Full HD, so image quality is superb, but it can be further improved once connected to a HD source. To further help improve image quality is LG’s XD engine, this helps to boast the contrast, brightness and the colour saturation not to mention improving image clarity.
For a TV of this size you would expect the black levels to be below average, but to our surprise they were much better than average. As you would expect, when watching HD programs and movies are fantastic, but when you watch standard definition the image quality is not so good, but then again this is now the case with most full HD TV’s.
Specifications for the LG 60PF95 60-inch Plasma TV are:
• Resolution - 1920 x 1080
• Contrast - 3,000:1
• Brightness - 1000cd/m2

The Good: One of the most rewarding flat panels TV’s there is
The Bad: Poor standard definition images, sound not as good as we was expecting
