The LG 37LF66 does look nice to look at but once you get over how nice it looks and switch the TV set on that’s when it all goes wrong. Even though this TV is very cheap for a 37-inch Full HDTV, it is not enough to make this LCD any more interesting. When you read all the specs the LG 37LF66 does look good, but just sometimes it is better just too spend a little more money to get the TV that delivers on what it says.
Although the TV is cheap you would not think it while looking at it, as the design looks more expensive than what it is. But do not let the looks fool you, the problem with the TV lies in the poor black levels, watching night scenes really are poor they tend to look more like a grey mist.
The poor black levels seems to affect the colour tones while watching those dark scenes, this seems to make the scene look unnatural. However the TV does have it good points, like having full HD which does help improve the image over standard resolution TV’s.
