When it comes to buying a TV we only have two choices, and that is LCD or Plasma. Now within a year we could have yet another choice, and that is with Laser TV. Novalux Inc. based in Sunnyvale, California is one of the top developers of the upcoming Laser TV, and says that is has half the production costs of Plasma TV’s, it uses at least one-third of the power consumption and you get double the amount of colour range.
It is a worry at how thin the Laser TV will be, as with Plasma and LCD they are so thin that they can be hung from walls. However, I am sure that Novalux will be working hard to get the profile thin enough in order to do this.
