It certainly seems as if JVC have been banging out a number of new LCD models many of which have been on the expensive side, but none in the budget range. The new JVC LT-42DV8BJ would have to fall in to the mid-range of TV’s, and it seems as if JVC have given us a TV with some hope of turning out to be a winner. The screen size of this Full HD LCD is 42-inch, which is no big by today’s standards.
So what has the JVC LT-42DV8BJ got to offer, well firstly the design has a retro feel to it and as usual is black in colour. There are a number of fantastic features in this TV to give it great image quality, such as Deep Colour format which helps to increase the colour range, DynaPix HD system this uses a host of processing tools, to give a more detailed and clearer image.
To further help with image quality is the addition of a 100Hz engine; this allows the image to be more fluid and sharp. As with many LCD TV’s now the JVC LT-42DV8BJ uses a backlighting system, which is a radical design from JVC for this model.
It’s not all about image quality, sound is very important as well and all though not very large the speakers do a better job than what you would imagine, with bass levels being better than average.
