The JVC LT-32DG8 is an entry-level 32-inch LCD TV, so if you have not yet upgraded to a flat screen TV then now is the time as prices are much lower than they have ever been. If you are taking the jump for the first time into the flat screen market then the JVC LT-32DG8 is a very good choice, as it is a very competent TV.

The design of the television even though it is a cheap model does look attractive, the build quality is on the average side, but with JVC, you know that their TV’s are built to last. As always, the finish of the TV is in glossy black, with the speakers being positioned on the bottom while slanting out slightly.

The resolution of the LT-32DG8 is 1,366×768 and will display both 720p and a downscaled 1080i high-definition signal, although it will not show the full 1080p HD the image that the TV produces are still very good. If like so many people you find it hard to set your sound and colour, you will like the sound and colour presets that JVC have built into the TV.

If you like to play with different settings, then you will like that the LT-32DG8 also have some advanced settings, these include noise-reduction and picture-management modes. Sound is always a key factor when choosing a TV, so the extra sound options are very useful, and if you like a bit of bass then the bass-enhancement modes will be to your liking.

The overall performance of the picture is better than average, colours are vivid which is great for an entry-level TV. but one problem with the LT-32DG8 is that the backlight could do with being toned down slightly.
