JVC are very serious when it comes to their projection line-up, which is why they are set to develop the 4k D-ILA, this will be the highest pixel density projection chip. So all future 4K2K projectors will be both smaller and lighter than before, and it could even be more affordable.
This new chip will be able to deliver images that have 4 times the amount of resolution of high definition. The size of the 4k D-ILA chip is only 1.27-inch; this is almost 43% smaller than previous versions.
It is thought that this new projection chip will produce the largest number of pixels in the world4096 x 2400, and will have a massive contrast ratio of 20,000:1. So as you can see this will produce images far greater than anything that have ever been seen before.
