Later this year will see the launch of the X and XR Series plasma TV’s from Hitachi. There will be three sizes a 42, 50 and 60 Inch.
We should see the launch of both the X and XR Series this Autumn, they will be full HD and have a screen resolution of (1920 x 1080). Get this, they will even have built in video recorders with up to 250GB of storage space.
They will both have two digital tuners, so you can record one channel while watching another. The X and XR Series Plasma TV range will also have iVDR, which stands for (information Versatile Disk for Removable storage). This means that you are able to expand your storage space.
Hitachi have said that the design of the new Televisions will have a slim-bezel design, they even claim that a 50 Inch version from the X and XR Series will only be as wide as some of the 42 Inch TV’s on the market today. The new range will also boast 3 HDMI inputs.
