The Hitachi 32LD9700 is a 32-Inch LCD TV; although a bit on the expensive side, you know that you are getting a TV that has all the features needed to give you the best viewing pleasure. Some of you might be thinking, “Why should I pay so much for an LCD as it can suffer with motion blur?” Now it seems Hitachi has answered many people’s worries by using something called IPS-Alpha, this helps to rid the TV of motion response, contrast and viewing angle.

The Hitachi 32LD9700 offers vibrant colours, great tonal range and superb black levels. Many of us already get that with one of our cheaper LCD’s, but what you do not get with them like you do with the Hitachi 32LD9700, is the sharpness and clarity and that is just watching standard images not HD.

The one drawback that this TV has is how hard the setup menu is, even if you are technically minded; chances are you will still struggle with the setup.
