We all know how successful the Nintendo Wii is, most of this success is due to the motion sensitive controller. It now seems as if other companies want to get in on that idea and Gyration is just one of them as they have just launched the Gyration Ultra R4000. This is a universal remote control which supports motion-sensing.
The Gyration ULTRA R4000 has a LCD screen where you are able to view your music library which has been stored in your media centre; this can be done even without turning on your TV or PC. The reason for the use of Gyroscopic Motion-Sensing technology, is that you are able to control the on-screen curser within Windows Media Centre just by the natural movement of your hand.

Gyration was the inventor of the air mouse and holds the patent on the gyro technology that is used in the Wii remote. Nintendo is using Gyration’s technology, not the other way around.
I have Gyration’s original media remote; I bought it before the Wii was even in the stores, and the original Gyration air mouse dates back several years — back to the days when the n64 and original Playstation were king.
