When looking for TV’s all people go on about is big screen TV’s, but some of us are looking for smaller TV’s for our bedrooms or kitchen. There are so many to choose from that it seems like a minefield out there.
The Goodmans LD1570FVT is a great choice, one for its cheap price tag at under £200, and the other with its strange design as it has corners that have been rounded more than normal. Do not expect all the latest technology inside, as the LD1570FVT does not need it, well come on it is only a small screen.
Specifications for the Goodmans LD1570FVT 15-inch LCD TV are:
• Resolution1024 x 768
• Contrast - 500:1
• Brightness - 250 cd/m2
• Freeview
• BBE Sound
Connections:
• 1 x Scart
• 1 x S-Video
• AV inputs
The Good: Unique design
The Bad: Lack of connectivity
I bought a Goodmans LD1570FVT yesterday, I was looking for a portable to take in my truck.I was amazed to find that the TV runs on 12 volts, yet it has to be connected to the mains with a voltage reducer, could it not have been supplied with a lead that connected to a cigar lighter in a vehicle, after all it runs on DC @12v.

I agree - I bought one for use in my caravan and couldn’t believe a 12 v connection was not provided. I have tried without sucess to speak to someone at Goodmans and Comet (who supply it) - but with no success. Has anyone any bright ideas for a direct 12 volt connection for this TV??
