I forgot to report the other day that at CES 2008 one of the TV’s that was on show was the upcoming Pioneer Kuro Plasma Concept, and before you start saying but there is already models of this television out think again as this new model is only 9mm thick. Ok so I know that there are thinner models on show, but some of them will not be able to match the image quality of the Kuro Plasma especially the black levels in this awesome TV.

Thanks to Engadget one of their guys managed to get a little side view of the TV, and decided to place his mobile phone next to the television just to show how thin it really is. The 50 inch model that was on display shows of Pioneer’s new advanced design as well as their extreme contrast technology.
